What do we expect from you?
Technical Requirements
- The Databricks Stack: 3–5+ years of deep expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog
- Core Languages: Expert-level Python/PySpark and Advanced SQL.
- Modelling Mastery: Proven experience in designing medallion architectures lake house schemas and familiarity with dimensional data models.
- DataOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Databricks Asset Bundles).
- Integrations: Hands-on experience with batch and real-time streaming.
- Expertise in designing, setting up and administering platforms with any of the hyperscale's, Azure preferred
- Familiarity with network and security topics (firewalls, VPNs, private links, etc.)
Leadership & Strategy
Technical Roadmap: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and long-term platform roadmaps.
Collaboration: Proven track record of working as the "bridge" between Data Engineers, Analysts, and C-suite stakeholders.
Best Practices: Passion for mentoring teams on clean code, performance tuning, and scalable architecture.
