Senior Con­sult­ant GCP Cloud Engin­eer­ing (m/f/d)

• Design and deliver innov­at­ive IT pro­jects on GCP, with a strong focus on data-driven archi­tec­tures and mod­ern engin­eer­ing practices
• Auto­mate deploy­ments and CI/CD work­flows using GCP-nat­ive tool­ing (Cloud Build, Ter­ra­form, etc.)
• Build and evolve cloud dis­trib­uted sys­tems with an eye toward scalab­il­ity and cost effi­ciency§ Provide best-prac­tice con­sult­ing and sup­port in the GCP domain
• Col­lab­or­ate within the synvert group on GCP-related topics
• Identify oppor­tun­it­ies and risks in cus­tomer cloud pro­jects, spot­ting “Land & Expand” moments where we can extend busi­ness impact
• Engage cus­tom­ers with clear, per­suas­ive communication—from tech­nical deep-dives to high-level roadmaps, adapt­ing style to audience
• Coach­ing of prac­tice mem­bers, con­trib­ut­ing to the suc­cess of the GCP cluster at synvert

• > 4 years of exper­i­ence in the area of Cloud/ Data Engin­eer­ing & consultancy
• Exper­i­ence with hands-on imple­ment­a­tion of the GCP Cloud/ Data Engin­eer­ing projects
• GCP cer­ti­fic­a­tions (e.g. Pro­fes­sional Cloud Archi­tect, Pro­fes­sional Data Engin­eer) or a strong record of deliv­er­ing suc­cess­ful GCP projects
• Excel­lent pro­gram­ming skills in Java, Python, or Scala (other lan­guages a plus)
• Strong expert­ise in GCP data ser­vices (e.g. BigQuery, Data­flow, Data­proc, Pub/Sub) and design­ing scal­able architectures
• Best prac­tices in Infra­struc­ture as Code (Ter­ra­form, Deploy­ment Man­ager, Pulumi) with a focus on secur­ity and compliance
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Com­puter Sci­ence, Phys­ics, Math­em­at­ics, Inform­a­tion Man­age­ment or in sim­ilar qualifications
• Open­ness to occa­sional travel (up to 30% of the time)
• Ger­man, Eng­lish: flu­ent in speak­ing & writing
• Good present­a­tion and com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
