Senior Con­sult­ant Power BI (m/f/d)

• +/- 5 years of exper­i­ence in work­ing with Power BI
• Advanced know­ledge in Data Mod­el­ing and Data Ware­housing eg. Data Vault, etc. and archi­tect exper­i­ence in DWH
• Strong know­ledge in Data Visualization
• Know­ledge in Data visu­al­iz­a­tion stand­ards (e.g. IBCS)
• Exper­i­ence with at least one RDB
• Advanced pro­fi­ciency with SQL (DDL, DML), DAX, M
• One of the fol­low­ing pro­gram­ming lan­guages: Java / Scala, Python, R
• Bach­elor / Mas­ter’s degree in Com­puter Sci­ence, Phys­ics, Math­em­at­ics, Inform­a­tion Man­age­ment or in sim­ilar qualifications
• Open­ness to occa­sional travel (up to 30% of the time)
• Ger­man, Eng­lish: flu­ent in speak­ing & writing
• Good to have:
• Know­ledge in Snow­flake or Azure Synapse
• One of Tableau, MicroStrategy or other Data Visu­al­iz­a­tion Tool
• Exper­i­ence in consulting

• Design and imple­ment scal­able and well-archi­tec­ted Power BI solu­tions tailored to busi­ness needs.
• Design and develop semantic mod­els in Power BI for effi­cient data ana­lysis and reporting.
• Imple­ment com­plex DAX Measures.
• Provide tech­nical expert­ise and guid­ance on all aspects of Power BI within synvert.
• Work hands-on with cus­tom­ers to demon­strate and com­mu­nic­ate the imple­ment­a­tion of Snow­flake technology.
• Work at a deep tech­nical level in cus­tomer environments.
• Col­lect and under­stand the busi­ness require­ments and imple­ment them
• Design, develop, and main­tain inter­act­ive and insight­ful reports for vari­ous busi­ness departments.
