What do we expect from you?

  • >4 years of exper­i­ence in the area of Plat­form / Data Engin­eer­ing & consultancy
  • Good know­ledge and hands-on exper­i­ence with Dat­ab­ricks Exper­i­ence with hands-on imple­ment­a­tion of the Cloud/ Data Engin­eer­ing projects
  • Excel­lent pro­gram­ming skills (e.g. Python, Scala, Java; object-ori­ented). Any other lan­guage con­sidered a plus
  • Strong tech­nical skills in emer­ging data tech­no­lo­gies, espe­cially in Databricks
  • Expert­ise in one of the fol­low­ing areas in Dat­ab­ricks: Unity Cata­log, Data Ware­housing, Per­form­ance Optim­iz­a­tion Bach­elor / Mas­ter’s degree in Com­puter Sci­ence, Phys­ics, Inform­a­tion Man­age­ment or in sim­ilar qualification
  • Cer­ti­fic­a­tions in Dat­ab­ricks: e.g. Asso­ci­ate or Pro­fes­sional, or proven record of deliv­er­ing pro­jects with Databricks
  • Open­ness to occa­sional travel (up to 30% of the time)
  • Ger­man, Eng­lish: flu­ent in speak­ing & writing
  • Very good present­a­tion and com­mu­nic­a­tion skills

Your tasks

  • Design and deliver data-driven IT pro­jects on Dat­ab­ricks platform
  • Hands-on imple­ment­a­tion of Cloud & Data Engin­eer­ing projects
  • Provide best prac­tices sup­port for cus­tom­ers and synvert in Dat­ab­ricks area
  • Stay up-to-date with the most recent fea­tures of Databricks
  • Land & Expand: recog­nise oppor­tun­it­ies and risks in the Cloud Data ana­lyt­ics area
  • Demon­strate good com­mu­nic­a­tion and present­a­tion skills to effect­ively engage and per­suade cus­tom­ers upon ini­tial interaction
  • Coach­ing of prac­tice mem­bers, con­trib­ut­ing to the suc­cess of the Dat­ab­ricks cluster at synvert
