Senior Con­sult­ant Data Gov­ernance (m/f/d)

• Min­imum of 7 years of exper­i­ence in data gov­ernance, data man­age­ment, or a related field.
• Exper­i­ence in con­sult­ing or advis­ory roles related to data governance.
• Proven track record of suc­cess­fully lead­ing data gov­ernance projects.
• Work­ing with data gov­ernance tools and tech­no­lo­gies (e.g., Ab Ini­tio, Col­libra, Inform­at­ica, Alation).
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Stat­ist­ics, Phys­ics, Math­em­at­ics, Eco­nom­ics, Com­puter Sci­ence, Inform­a­tion Man­age­ment or in sim­ilar qualifications
• Rel­ev­ant cer­ti­fic­a­tions (e.g., Ab Ini­tio, DAMA Cer­ti­fied Data Man­age­ment Pro­fes­sional, etc.).
• Strong under­stand­ing of data gov­ernance prin­ciples, frame­works, and best practices.
• Excel­lent pro­ject man­age­ment and organ­iz­a­tional skills.
• Abil­ity to ana­lyze com­plex data issues and develop effect­ive solutions.
• Strong com­mu­nic­a­tion and inter­per­sonal skills, with the abil­ity to influ­ence and engage stake­hold­ers at all levels.
• Exper­i­ence with man­aging pro­jects as well as hands-on imple­ment­a­tion of the Cloud/ area Data Engin­eer­ing projects
• Open­ness to occa­sional travel (up to 30% of the time)
• Ger­man, Eng­lish: flu­ent in speak­ing & writing
• Proven abil­ity to identify oppor­tun­it­ies and risks within pro­jects and cre­ate new roles within exist­ing projects.

• Lead data gov­ernance pro­jects from ini­tial plan­ning and ini­ti­ation to com­ple­tion, ensur­ing timely deliv­ery and qual­ity out­comes (incl. P&L).
• Estab­lish offer­ings around our organ­iz­a­tion and cur­rent mar­ket trends and lead sales pitches as the sub­ject mat­ter expert.
• Land & Expand: Identify oppor­tun­it­ies and risks in pro­jects and suc­cess­fully cre­ate new roles within exist­ing projects.
• Design and imple­ment com­pre­hens­ive data gov­ernance frame­works tailored to cli­ent needs.
• Provide expert advice on best prac­tices around data gov­ernance and data management.
• Con­duct work­shops and train­ing ses­sions to enable cli­ents on data gov­ernance principles.
• Strengthen the data gov­ernance cluster with strong tech­nical and organ­iz­a­tional data strategy and gov­ernance expertise.
• Rep­res­ent synvert in external net­works and build up the repu­ta­tion in the market.
